Live with Heart

Kappa Zeta Chapter | Elon University

Membership in Sigma Kappa at Elon University is not just for four years, it's for life.

Consistent with our Founders’ thoughts in 1874, our chapter's primary purpose is to create an environment for our members in which lasting friendships and our values of sisterhood emanate all aspects of our organization. We encourage an atmosphere which will foster high ideals of friendship among college women, promote their educational and cultural interests, create in them a true sense of social responsibility and develop in them high qualities of character.

On Elon's campus, the Kappa Zeta chapter is embodied as much by our differences as it is by our similarities. Every day, each member represents our sisterhood through the community service, academics, organizations, sports, activities and every other passion and interest they pursue. Our personal differences from one another strengthens our bond and our sisterhood's support for each member. This chapter uniqueness promotes our values of personal growth, friendship, loyalty, and service in our chapter and in the community around us.

Sigma Kappa is more than just a collegiate experience; it is a lifetime of commitment, support and opportunity awaiting you. It marks the beginning of a relationship that will last for a lifetime.

Recruitment Information

Though many of us associate the benefits of sorority membership with the college years, Sigma Kappa is a lifelong influence on its members. Besides offering support, encouragement, and an atmosphere that promotes success and well-being, Sigma Kappa creates opportunities for women to become part of a worldwide sisterhood of successful, caring women.
